Last weekend, three St Peter’s students took part in the Hever Castle Triathlon to raise money for the school. Oliver  (year 4), Isabel  (year 5) and Amelie  (year 4), along with over 600 other children, aged 8-10, swam 100m, cycled 4km and ran 1.3 km around the Hever Castle estate. The event broke records for attendance and is the largest children’s triathlon in the world. They children all finished and are keen to take on their next challenges.

Together, they raised almost £1000 for St Peter’s. You can sponsor them by visiting their fundraising page athttp://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/triathlonforfosp.

If any other children would like to do some of their own fundraising for the school, it’s really easy to set up a Virgin Money page and link it to FOSP as the charity beneficiary. Some ideas for fundraising include a sponsored walk, run, read, skip, or they could give up sugar, take out the rubbish or do the washing up! It’s a really fun way to get involved in fundraising for a charity where they can see the benefits of the money they raise first hand.

Well done to all the children who took on this latest challenge!
